Actually all the people I&#039;ve been speaking with about this are Japanese. (I live in Japan)

Most Japanese don&#039;t even know that you can buy IDN&#039;s. And that is one other aspect of the problem, in my opinion. If you&#039;re on the phone and say, &quot;Hey go to Tokyo dot com&quot;, most Japanese users would go to www.tokyo.com, not 東京.com. It creates duplicate domains, and you&#039;d suffer the same fate as .net domains suffer at the hands of .com&#039;s. 

Just my 2 cents, of course.</description>
