I sorta continued onward with another post about blog usability today. I think what separates a blog from a traditional web site is in the requirements process. They're starting to gel together, so that the difference between the two entities is that the blog is more social. Definitely one of my big points is trying to get away from the concept that you can have a website OR a blog - since it can be a valuable asset for any website to include a blog.
